Developing Space Industry Safety
Short course (London) by Civil Aviation Authority · £910 excl. VAT
The UK Space Industry Regulations 2021 embodies the objective of encouraging safe practice in the UK Space Industry, with the intent of using established principles. What are these principles, and how should they be applied? To answer these questions, the course introduces standard industry safety principles and applies them through presentations and exercises, to understand the underlying value. The course draws on the UK CAA Space Team’s own learning, together with experience and observation from their space industry monitoring activities. The course comprises of a two-day classroom event, delivered by UK CAA Space Regulatory Specialists, and will include Process Safety and Safety Culture training. >Develop and apply System and Process Safety approaches within their organisations. >Implement the requirements of the UK Space Regulations 2021 such that effective safety principles become established. >Leverage the learning to cultivate both effective organisational Safety Culture and Process Safety.
Space Communications & Regulations
